- Worth a look

Judging by the way Justin has been raving about her piece in Spectrum 14, I’d say he has a bit of a crush on Canadian illustrator Joy Ang. Spectrum has a tendency to publish a lot of people with swords in various stages of undress, and corpses with bloody fingernails hooked up to technology–that kind of thing. Still, occassionally, they have some illustrators that rebel against rebellion in a heroic way (I defy you to find even a trace of angst or anger in Joy Ang’s craft blog). Anyway, here’s a great piece from Miss Ang:

In other news, Justin has a piece coming out in Spectrum 15, so be on the lookout for that.

Justin, I think you need to compose some effusive fan mail.
Joy Ang understands that the first step to being a tremendously good artist and mastering very difficult illustration techniques is to be ridiculously good looking. I salute her for that. And on the above piece I award her the coveted Badge of Flabbergasting Skill. The world needs more Joy Ang.
Thanks for sharing the site. Awesome art - I’ve followed some of her pieces in the past through different sites. Justin, you’re still the man and your art is definitely setting a standard.
