Long Awaited Update

Greetings. Apologies for the long delay since the last post on this site. We’ve been up to our ears in work and have been neglectful.

Justin Gerard is hard at work on a project for Crossway as well as a historical fiction book cover for P&R Publishing. Cory Godbey is doing final art for Andrew Peterson’s Matthew’s Begats book that Thomas Nelson will be releasing in time for Christmas of 2007. The official title is The Ballad of Matthew’s Begats and will be accompanied by a single of the song. The art is coming out quirky and funny and wonderful. Cory’s really perfected a technique of combining traditional pencil and watercolor with digital painting. Probably his best work to date by my estimates. Chris is working on a project that will be shown on PBS eventually. The animation sample that we saw was astoundingly well done. We couldn’t be more pleased with the direction of this project.

In other news, Stephanie, Jamin, and Josh organized a mailing to editors at children’s book houses. We are hearing some positive responses regarding several project proposals.
