Good news and bad news.

Here’s the good news.  A project we worked on for a while not only got off the ground, but it got listed on Wired magazine’s blog.  That’s pretty cool right?  Eliot Van Buskirk was kind enough to write up a bit on NoiseTrade.  This is a service that exchanges music for email addresses or a price you pick.  Hats off to Mark Johnson for the overtime he spent on the programming, and kudos to all who worked on it.  What’s the bad news you ask?  Well there’s not much, except our buddy Eliot apparently was in a hurry when he wrote the last paragraph.  It starts, “A NoiseTrade spokeswomam [sic] told us via e-mail that 5 percent of listeners are [sic] choose to pay for albums.”  Spokeswomam?  Listeners are choose to pay? For the Love!

To be fair, I’m no champion speller.  Men who live in glass houses … and all that.  Still, we’re pleased as punch at Noisetrade’s exposure and have high hopes for it’s continued success.
