- Brown Baggin It!
- Written by Zach in Art Friday Post News
Thank you everyone for your topic contributions. We decided to use a suggestion submitted by Anna Grace. She proposed “Persephone” as the subject for this week’s post. In Greek mythology Persephone is well known for being the embodiment of the Earth’s fertility, but she’s also the queen of the underworld. Her myth says that when she hangs out with Hades down below, everything up top dies, and we get the change of the seasons. So, anyway, she’s our topic. Oh, one more thing. We decided to do this week’s post on brown paper …

- Prospero
- Written by Zach in Art Friday Post News
Okay, here’s the deal. We’re Craaazy busy, but we have a few submissions for the Prospero topic some of which actually have to do with Prospero, like this one here by Cory Godbey. Cory came up to me and asked, does Prospero do a lot of magic in the Tempest? - HELEN OF …
- Written by Zach in Art Friday Post News
This post is somewhat sparser than the previous ones. The topic “Helen of …” has turned out to be harder and somwhat less inspiring than you might think. Also, Work, folks leaving, and other elements have conspired against us. The few entries that that made it are the Marine entries. These are the few and the proud. They’ve weathered hardships and now they’re here for your viewing enjoyoment.
Since I failed to inspire with this week’s topic, next week’s is Apocalyptic Robots. It’ll bring submissions in like rain.
Here’s an imaginative one from Halley our intern. …

- SWASHBUCKLE!
- Written by Zach in Art Friday Post News
This week’s topic was Swashbuckler and despite the demands of proper work, we were still able to round up a good number of submissions. The 4×6 cards have largely been ignored. Only a few have turned in submissions on the cards, the rest of the people are wild anarchists! So I think next week we might lose the 4×6 suggestion all together.

First we have our Programmer Ben Kammer’s Musketeer.

These are from illustrator Cory Godbey. One is the ghost of Robin Hood and the other is a …
