- Brown Baggin It!

Thank you everyone for your topic contributions. We decided to use a suggestion submitted by Anna Grace. She proposed “Persephone” as the subject for this week’s post. In Greek mythology Persephone is well known for being the embodiment of the Earth’s fertility, but she’s also the queen of the underworld. Her myth says that when she hangs out with Hades down below, everything up top dies, and we get the change of the seasons. So, anyway, she’s our topic. Oh, one more thing. We decided to do this week’s post on brown paper bags. So there you go.
Here’s Koelle’s portrayal of the “Iron Queen.”

Here’s one from Kammer our programmer. I know it rhymes. That’s why it’s cool.

This one is Cory’s. He included both Persephone and Hades. He also threw in a backdrop. This kid is magic!

This birthday greeting comes from Hallie, our administrative assistant. (My birthday is this weekend. Woo hoo!) Persephone offers a cupcake, and Hades has what Hallie seems to be calling a “hell shake”? Um … Awesome?
This one is from The Gerard. And here’s mine. This one turned out a little more effeminate than I intended. It was supposed to be Persephone bringin’ up some spring. I meant for it to be cooler, but I took a wrong turn somewhere and ended in My Little Pony town. It reminds me of the lunch bags that fancy girls in first grade used to bring to school. So I’m a little disappointed–after all, I had a Transformers lunch box made out of metal! It was so tough I used to close it on apples and slice them in half! Roar!

My first grade self would be so embarrassed.

it’s supposed to be one of those popsicles that you split in half.
AND SINCE IT’S (almost) YOUR BIRTHDAY,
“he’ll shaRe.”
(but, yes, “he will,” contracted kinda looked like “hell” so i thought i was nearly being clever.)
& i dig cory’s lunchbag puppets.
oooo… can cory’s bags talk too?
I’m planning on doing a puppet show sometime next week.
Here’s a dress rehearsal back stage pass:

Wish I could be there to see it.
Very, very cool. Thanks a lot for picking that topic! This stuff is teh awesome.
And a happy (quite belated) birthday, Zach!
So, have you officially delclared war upon all extremely random and extraneous posts? Where’d the other stuff go?!
I like the new look though — shiny, efficient, erudite.
*declared.
(Yep, fairly clear that I have no right to scoff at anyone else’s typing, isn’t it . . ?)
