the green ocean laps at the

staggering fight
darkenss and night

singing in the light
crying the shadows of the water waiting

bold he was in spear and helmet
gleaming in the sun
yellow and skirted
he was the one

we sang to him for him to come nearer
nearer and nearer

spear snapped and helmet broke
down and down adn down

lots of heads

o so many heads

flying in the sun
speeding towards the end

hero

cold, wet, and dead.
