Audio Book

We’ve been working on the Jack and Inar audio book. So far it sounds terrific. Nathan Bennett has a remarkable vocal range and a very precise ear for dialogue. His performance skills serve the story very well. Maybe audio isn’t your thing. Maybe you’re a book-in-the-hand person. Well, for those of you who want to experience the text through the eye and inner ear, we will make available the tangible copy of the book. We recommend that you read this in the safety of a sofa, bed, or porch swing. I know what you’re asking. What about those people who are active? What about those who may not want to read within such static confines? What about active folks who like to read and rock?

You know what I mean. We’ve all seen it. Some young lady is jogging at break-neck speed while reading a book. Inevitably she runs off the road, smacks into a lamppost, tramples upon the neck of a goose, or rockets off a bridge into a ravine. How can Portland serve her? What about the poor guy who likes to mow his lawn and enjoy a bit of story at the same time? How long can publishers continue to ignore his ruined tulips, poor lawn maintenance, and missing toes? I’ll tell you this much. Portland is safety first, and we’re in the corner of people who like to live life ramped up and out of control. Don’t let being rad stop you from getting your read on. Portland audio books let you feel free to listen while running, driving, or cycling. There’s absolutely no reason that flame juggler Jack Willoughby should be denied a proper exposure to literature. With Portland audio books, we read on so you can rock on! We’re not just creating good stories. We’re saving lives.

I don’t know what the issue is. I can run and read at the same time with no trouble. I do it all the time. I also read and drive. Maybe I am especially gifted. So you’re not just creating good stories – you’re saving the lives of the uncoordinated.
