- Advanced Composite Materials

We’ve been working on a very unique project this summer for a new client of ours, Advanced Composite Materials. What do Silicon Carbide Whiskers and Microwave Absorbent Ceramics have to do with illustration you ask? Not much, except that Tom over at ACM wanted to fill his office with original artwork, and we were happy to oblige. In fact, we encourage anyone with an office to do the same!
We had Aaron Greene and Chris Koelle combine their talents for the majority of the pieces, using a unique combination of photography and illustration. I was able to run out to ACM this afternoon and take a few pictures from my iphone. I apologize for the really low quality, but hopefully you can get the idea.
Justin was able to spend a great deal of time on the other two pieces that now have a permanent home in the ACM lobby. Later this week or early next week he will take some time to post about how he developed his pieces, so look for that soon (probably next Monday). Danny took some nice shots of these before we delivered them this afternoon.

Justin, wow, those two pieces look incredible… Can’t wait for the follow-up post.
This stuff is gorgeous.
