Say what you will about America, but once upon a time, we had a President who felt the beat of hardy life in his veins, and possessed the glory of work and the joy of living. He also kept company with “lean, sinewy fellows, accustomed to riding half-broken horses, at any speed, over any country, by day or by night.” His name of course, was Theodore Roosevelt.
